Karthikeyan Mayilvaganan’s path spans early academic foundations in Chettinad, nearly 8 years in the medical devices product industry, and more than 22 years in IT across infrastructure architecture, network security, systems administration, data center operations, compliance, vendor management, and operations leadership.
Early Years
Strong foundations
Karthikeyan Mayilvaganan was born in Kanadukathan, Chettinad. He completed schooling at Pichiappa Middle School, Oonaiyur, SBF High School at Kadiapatti – Ramachandrapuram, and Ulagappar Higher Secondary School at Ramachandrapuram, Pudukkottai District.
He graduated in Chemistry from V.S.S.V. Government Arts College, Poolankurchi. After graduation, he moved to Chennai and started his career as a Trainee Chemist.
Career Transition
A disciplined evolution
He worked for almost 8 years in the medical devices product industry, gaining experience in quality, process discipline, documentation, product standards, and operational responsibility.
Later, he transitioned into Information Technology through continuous learning, certifications, and hands-on experience. Since then, he has built deep expertise across infrastructure architecture, network security, systems administration, data center operations, voice platforms, compliance, project execution, vendor management, and IT operations leadership.
